UK: Iran-backed terrorists stockpiled tons of explosives in secret London bomb factory

Muslim terrorists with links to the Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah have been caught stashing tons of explosive materials at a secret bomb factory in London.

Hezbollah terrorists stashed thousands of disposable ice packs containing ammonium nitrate, a common ingredient in homemade bombs.

Three metric tons of ammonium nitrate had been discovered. This is more than was used in the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people and damaged hundreds of buildings.

The plot was uncovered by MI5 and the Metropolitan Police in 2015 but the public was kept in the dark, according to The Telegraph. It had also been hidden from MPs who were debating whether to fully ban Hezbollah.

A source described the plot as “proper organized terrorism”, while another said enough explosive materials were stored to do “a lot of damage”, The Telegraph reported.

The bomb factory was discovered just months after the UK signed up to the Iran nuclear deal.

According to the Telegraph David Cameron and Theresa May, then the prime minister and home secretary were personally briefed on what had been found in the sites on the edge of the capital because it may have pointed to a large terrorist threat to the UK.

Police eventually arrested one Muslim terrorist on suspicion of plotting terrorism – but released him without charge. His identity was kept secret, as were the whole findings until now – possibly in an effort to keep the Iran nuclear deal of 2015 alive.
