In a televised speech from the safety of his underground bunker where he has been hiding from Israel since 2006, Hezbollah terror group leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Saturday that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was correct in his concern that Hezbollah is now “stronger than ever.”
Israel is aware that Hezbollah terrorists are capable of invading the Galilee, the terror group’s leader said.
Nasrallah also said that this week’s Middle East conference in Warsaw was meant to unite countries against Iran and to publicly normalize relations with “the Zionist enemy,” but that “nothing came of it except for statements to the media.”
He further pointed out that Iran has always been ready to help Lebanon, adding that the Lebanese government rejects Iran’s help because of US and Saudi interference.
Trying to justify the loss of several thousands of Hezbollah troops in Syria and Iraq, the terror group chief dismissed the American claims that they fought against ISIS, adding they created the terrorist group.
The Hezbollah-linked al Mayadeen TV on Friday published video footage of the 2015 Hezbollah terror attack in Har Dov in the Golan Heights, in which IDF soldiers Yochai Kalangel and Dor Chaim Nini were murdered and seven others injured.
The footage shows an anti-tank missile being fired at the patrol vehicle in which the two soldiers who were killed were traveling, as well as the moment of the explosion.
