A female suicide bomber has blown herself up near a police station checkpoint in Grozny, the Chechen capital, Interior Ministry said on Saturday.
Nobody else was killed or injured in the blast, head of the Chechen Interior Ministry Apti Alaudinov told reporters.
Alaudinov said that the terror attack took place at about 4:00 p.m. local time when the female Muslim terrorist approached a federal police post ignoring officers’ demands to stop. She blew herself up after warning shots.

Investigators are now trying to identify the terrorist and looking for her possible accomplices.
According to a local source, the suicide bomber was not a Chechen national.
